LARGE GOODS VEHICLE THEORY (CAT C)

This programme is designed to provide up to date material to enable you to pass your Cat C theory test. You will find information in both pictorial and written form which covers many of the areas you will be tested on during your Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) theory test. The advice and guidance given in each section will give you a greater understanding of the knowledge required to pass the test. Below you will find the index to the different sections of theory contained within the test. At the end of each section you can return to this menu. The first two sections are short videos that will help you understand the daily checks you must make, and the procedures for uncoupling your trailer.  

Below are links to some online Cat C theory tests. If you have access to some older style training material, you will notice one major change is that now the test comprises of single answer questions. Questions are constantly being added to the DVSA database and feedback from students helps us to incorporate many of these additional questions which ultimately gives you a better chance of passing your theory test first time.
